A few weeks ago, German and Dutch healthcare professionals from across the entire chain came together during a Whole System in the Room session to test this out! During the session, bottlenecks were identified, participants learned to speak each other's language (literally and figuratively) and simply got to know each other better. Only when all perspectives come together does it become clear where the friction lies and where the opportunities are. That is where sustainable cross-border cooperation begins.
The Whole System in the Room session was organised as part of the Interreg Deutschland-Nederland project Improving Crossborder Emergency health-Care (ICEC). This project focuses on improving care for acute medical patients in the border region, improving their chances of survival and strengthening cross-border cooperation.
The ICEC project is being carried out as part of the Interreg VI programme Deutschland-Nederland and is co-financed by the European Union, MWIKE NRW and the Provincie Gelderland with €721,710.65. Together with the contributions of the project partners, a total amount of €1,001,700.27 has been
