Cross-border commuters in particular are confronted with the differences in social legislation and tax problems. The Euregio Rhine-Waal organises monthly consultation hours for cross-border commuters with the Dutch and German authorities and organisations.
The Euregio Rhine-Waal funding advice centre is the first point of contact for all questions regarding funding for projects within the framework of INTERREG Deutschland-Nederland and cross-border activities in the areas of social affairs, sport and culture.
Qualified staff inform potential applicants about the funding opportunities in the Euregio Rhine-Waal, the funding programmes and their contact persons as well as the funding priorities and current project initiatives. The Euregio Rhine-Waal also uses its extensive cross-border network to help find partners and funding opportunities for projects.
The staff of the Euregio Rhine-Waal will be happy to talk to you by prior arrangement.
The Rhine-Waal Euroregion serves as advocate for the entire border region. We represent the interests of the region to Dutch, German, and European institutions and bodies, in order to sustainably improve the cross-border accessibility of the existing supply. The representation of interests takes place in all socially relevant areas, from economy and infrastructure to education and culture.
We frequently and extensively support cross-border activities in the German-Dutch borderland. Contact us for more information
